David May II, founder of Brookhill Corp. was the grandson of David May I, founder of the May Department Stores Company. David May II is widely credited with being responsible for the first department store anchored shopping centers and ran the May Department Stores Company real estate and construction division. Mr. May also served as Vice-Chairman of the Board of the May Department Stores Company until 1977 when he retired to form Brookhill Corp.
David May I was the founder of the May Department Stores Company in 1877. The May Department Stores Company grew to own and manage several companies and 324 department stores in 31 states and the District of Columbia. It was one of the oldest blue chip stocks on the New York Stock Exchange until its merger with the Federated Department Stores in 2006.
Brookhill Corp. is named after the Brookhill Whiskey label, a legacy of the Friedman Keiler Company founded in the early 1900's by the family of Anita Keiler May, the mother of David May II.
Brian Rosenstein, Chief Executive Officer, oversees Brookhill Corp. Mr. Rosenstein previously worked at New Pacific Realty and Keiler Holdings. Mr. Rosenstein also serves as a Board Member and Vice-President of the Wilbur May Foundation and is the grandson of Brookhill's founder David May II. Keith Geiger, Chief Operating Officer, manages Brookhill's real estate operations with a vast experience in commercial real estate management. Mr. Geiger previously held executive management positions at Caruso, Robertson Properties and Forest City Realty Trust.
Crystal Morgan, Director of Asset Management, comes with years of experience at Brookhill Corp. Ms. Morgan previously worked for Robertson Properties as a tenant construction associate, commercial real estate legal assistant for a private law firm and multifamily portfolio manager for Leo Property Management.
Sean Lindauer, Operations Manager, oversees the physical operations, landlord construction, and tenant improvements of Brookhill's properties. Mr. Lindauer previously served as Chief Engineer for Caruso and Operations Manager and Tenant Coordinator for Forest City Realty Trust.
